Many of the new Cast 254 engines
have left the workshop. At this time, I am shipping the motors as I receive
them from the honing process. If you have preordered, I will be contacting you
when I have one ready to ship. As I will be following the preorder list I have,
please be patient (as I know you have been) and I shall be moving through the
orders as quickly as I can. Please do not send payment if you are on the list
unless you have been directly contacted by me.
As this is a part time hobby
business, it comes after family then my more than full time work. I work in
research and development and on occasion it sends me out of town for a week at
a time. In fact, last year was the most travel I had ever done with the company
(guess it was worth it with a successful product launch) but it really took a
toll on my time spent in the workshop. I enjoy building engines but I don’t
enjoy the stress that comes with having people on a list longer than my arm! I
am in the process of taking steps to try to get the current list taken care of
by the middle of this summer. I will be partnering with someone (more details
to follow) and he will help me reach this goal. This will be good for him, me
and everyone on that list!
